He is my dream of the love I want...although my dream definitely includes someone who is present and available the majority of the time (we all need some time away sometimes).
Long live the French knot!
An art project in and of itself, wereisobesotted.blogspot.com accompanies my hand-embroidered blog of the same name. Here, I describe in more detail how I arrive at my embroideries. I welcome your stories, anecdotes, and feedback.
This is becoming so beautifully. I find french knots so frustrating.
ReplyDeleteI love your work!
ReplyDeleteThank you both for the supportive words.
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to learn French knots. I am not even sure how I finally figured them out. Now, I'm hooked!
You may be able to find a video online that shows step-by-step instructions.
I really like this man as well. Yes we like some mystery in relationships don't we. We want someone that is developed apart from us. The man of my dreams had his own dreams and hobbies. They were dreams that were compatible with my own and hobbies that I respected so that I didn't mind him spending money on them or talking about them at the dinner table. There are some men's hobbies that don't interest me and I can't understand spending time with or spending money on them. So I avoided men that valued those ideals.
ReplyDeleteIf he spoke French ...though...I might forget my resolve...
Just thinking about that French knot and ll the underlining meaning that would be wrapped up in that. (all puns intended)
