To be honest, I think I first started this piece at left in 2004. I found it recently during my self-directed apartment/studio makeover, and decided to update it.This means that I pulled out some of the stitches, replacing them with the red stitching.

Ahh, to feel that way about someone... I can almost remember it.
What a great find. It is such a great feeling to be in a relationship where you share each others thoughts.

ReplyDeleteThis piece was about wanting to get close to someone, and not necessarily having that opportunity. The relationship ended abruptly, leaving me with questions.
I think I like your version of it better!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your words of encouragement on my blog. I am aware of most of those things, but to be aware of them and to actually do them are a different story. I think in order for me to grow a pair and do all of the things I should be doing for crafting I need to feel the pressure...like quit my job with the thought of not eating on my back or something. Haha...won't really do that, but need to work like that!
